Dinosaurs in Texas?

This past Saturday we went to see some fossilized dinosaur tracks with some friends.  Millions of years ago, our neck of the woods was at sea level and the consistency of the sand and rock on the beach was just right to preserve some important footprints:

We had a geologist friend with us who filled the track with water so we could see it better.  Genius.  Anyway, it was nice to have an expert explain the tracks and how they came to be!  We also enjoyed following them and leaping to each print, copying a dinosaur's stride.  This was the most clear track, although there were many others preserved along the riverbed as well.

So here's my question:  If everything is bigger in Texas, just how big were TEXAN dinosaurs?!  I'm glad I wasn't around to find out.  Here's a cute picture of Jackson, he's so ready to be a Daddy.   :)
